At Brill’s Seed Company, we take great pride in offering high-quality dahlia tubers and flower stock grown with care. Because we sell live plant material, our return policy differs from standard retail products.
Please read the policy below before placing your order.
Live Plant Policy
Dahlia tubers are perishable, seasonal products. For this reason:

All tuber sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges on tubers once they have shipped.

We cannot guarantee performance due to growing conditions outside of our control.
Growing success depends on soil quality, watering practices, weather, pests, storage conditions, and planting technique.
Order Issues & Damage Claims
If your order arrives damaged or in poor condition:

You must contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

A brief description of the issue

If the claim is approved, we may:

Issue a store credit

Send a replacement (if available)

Issue a refund at our discretion
Claims made after 48 hours of delivery may not be eligible.
Viability Guarantee
Each tuber is inspected prior to shipping to ensure it:

Is firm and healthy

Has at least one viable eye (or visible growth point)
If a tuber arrives soft, rotted, or clearly non-viable, contact us within 48 hours and we will work to make it right.
We do not guarantee sprouting or blooming success due to environmental factors beyond our control.
Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase.

After 24 hours, cancellations may not be possible due to seasonal inventory planning.

Pre-sale orders are final once processing begins.
Substitutions
In rare cases due to crop loss or inventory shortages, we reserve the right to substitute a similar variety of equal or greater value. Customers will be notified if this occurs.
Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout.
Brill’s Seed Company is not responsible for lost packages due to incorrect addresses provided at time of purchase.
Weather Delays
We reserve the right to delay shipping if temperatures are too cold or too hot to safely ship tubers. Protecting plant health is our priority.
